We used them for our car rental in Langkawi. They contacted us through WhatsApp before our arrival. We had a short delay in our flight, but they were very accommodating. Upon landing they told us which exit gate to be at for pickup. They were waiting at the mentioned gate. We had booked a honda city, however they said that the AC of the Honda was not working properly so they replaced with a Toyota Vios, which was basically a similar vehicle. The car was in proper condition and they even insisted us to video the car and check it before taking. They took a safety deposit of 50 USD, or equivalent rinngit, which would be refundable at drop off. They also checked our license. The drop off was quick and seamless too. They checked everything promptly and returned the safety deposit. Also, we had to fill up the fuel before returning, but sadly we couldn't make time, but they allowed us to pay by cash for the amount of fuel to be filled, which they calculate based on the amount of bars used on the fuel scale. It was good that they had that option. Overall it was a satisfying experience.

We booked a 12 seater mpv for langkawi family trip today and they sent a mpv which is faulty. We couldn't start the car and they said they would try to fix the mpv on the same night or replace me with another similar capacity. Unfortunately, it did not happen and they even try their luck to put the blame on us so they could make us compensate for the faulty car. In actual fact, we have not even manage to drive off the actual spot it was parked. We called trip.com 24 hour support and were disappointed that there were no recovery backup up plan other than to issue a refund which may take days or weeks. Thoroughly disappointed with the no guarantee booking. What is the point of booking early but to end up with no vehicle on a peak season and we were stranded with old folks and young children of 12. AVOID THIS COMPANY.... and they are tied to trip.com.... so if you don't wanna run the risk of getting con.... u should avoid booking for langkawi car rental with trip.com or worst direct with them.... their staffs and bosses are hooligans! Very rude and speak like some local mafias... after ten days they have not issue a refund. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RENT CAR FROM THEM! BIG SCAM

The car they providing is a bit old(more than 5 years) Cleanliness wise is acceptable but there is ant here and there(only if you leave your food inside your car)
In my case,they leave the car in the jetty parking lot so we need to pay RM2 parking fee when exit the parking lot.
I booked Avanza.

They said they will refund the booking fee once the island hopping is canceled due to bad weather. But, Mr. Choo Hon Seong (Sales Executive) did not show up at all. We called him so many times but he only say he is on the way. Many hours passed and he is still on the way.
