The maid KG arranged was quiet, but kind. She never forced interaction, just slowly followed his rhythm. After 3 weeks, my son smiled at her and handed her his toy. That’s something even family members haven’t seen.

Thanks Captain! My mum has late-stage cancer. I’m her only child. I work during the day and take care of her at night. I’ve not had proper sleep in months.

I didn’t want to get a maid…I was scared someone would treat my mum roughly, or not understand her needs.

But I was drowning. And this agency told me, ‘Let her try one week. If you’re not happy, we’ll replace.’

She came in and didn’t speak much. Just observed. When she saw how my mum winced getting out of bed, she folded an extra towel to support her back. When I was feeding mum, she stood beside me and said gently, ‘You go rest, I can feed slowly’

I watched her from the stairs. My mum smiled at her like she smiled at me.
