The first few times we went to see Doctor Victor was for very small things. We were always impressed with his kindness and thoroughness, and the clinic itself is a lovely space that doesn’t feel sterile (even though it’s immaculately clean) and is welcoming, designed beautifully and feels very high-end.

I feel compelled to write this review because I had an experience I’d like to share. I’ve been unlucky enough to now have had really bad food poisoning twice in the last six months. The first time I got it, we went to one of the big hospitals here in Penang. The triage nurse didn’t seem to know what to do, it took a long time to just get me into a room. I was literally crying and wailing in pain. Then they insisted on doing a blood test before giving me anything and we had to wait a long time for that to happen and then get the results. They then put me on an IV drip but did not put the drip in right so it took about two hours for the liquids to go through. I asked for pain relief, but they only gave me a tablet which is to help stop stomach cramping but was not very effective in relieving any immediate pain. When the IV finished, they wanted to admit me to watch and monitor me, but we declined as I rather be in my own bed. They made me feel a bit like a prisoner, and it took some convincing to go home. This experience cost just over RM 3500.

Yesterday I went to see Doctor Victor because I remember seeing that he had an ultrasound machine and a lot of other things that suggested he could take care of me. I contacted him and asked if he had a drip just to confirm and he did and he even came in earlier than his office hours to see me as I was again in a lot of pain.

He managed to get the IV in me and also gave me a shot of a painkiller and within minutes I was starting to feel better. There’s no long registration line there’s no long line to pay. There was just fantastic service and within two hours I was feeling 100% better and was able to leave the clinic. The whole experience cost just over RM600 including the shot that the other hospital didn’t give me and all of the medicine that I need. That’s about 1/6 the cost of the hospital and it was 100% a better experience!!
So whether your complaint is big or small (like filling in your children’s health forms or the flu) or dealing with horrible food poisoning. I can’t recommend going to see him enough.
Honestly, unless I need surgery, a specialist doctor or an MRI scan, I will not be going back to any of the hospitals.

I want to spread the word because I like Dr Victor Yap and this clinic so much I want to make sure it stays open! He’s located on the ground floor of Vantage just next to the right of the main entrance gate.

Very disappointed. I went to this clinic yesterday around 6pm but it was closed, even though the website say it's open until 8:30pm. I came all the way through heavy traffic just to get here. This is not the first time I’ve experienced like this. So im giving 2 star instead. 1 for the doctor, who is very good, and another 1star because this clinic used to be my favourite clinic.

I recently visited Mediviron for a routine check-up, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The clinic was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. Dr. Victor took the time to listen to all my concerns and provided a detailed explanation of my treatment options. Though parking was a bit tricky, the excellent care I received more than made up for it. I’ve already noticed improvements thanks to the treatment plan. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking top-notch healthcare!”
