I would like to share my experience during my visit to Singapore Consulate at JB City Square on 23 May 25. I had lost my passport on 22 May 25 and I'm not allowed by JB Immigration to cross the border and need to report to Singapore Embassy the next day . I stayed in JB and started my visit at 8.45am the next morning but it closed. The security there a lady was so friendly, helpful and courteous. She told me it still closed and asked me to take a photo instead to stay by and leave my mobile number behind. About 9 she call me and ask me to come up. Did some process of checking and I enter. I was served by someone a guy but I forgot to ask for his name (not sure whether his name was K Faizal as the document signature). I really thank him because of the process was super efficient. He mentioned he had go ahead and informed ICA that my passport lost and waiting for my approval. What they need from me 1 photo and RM$50 for Issue in Lieu of a Passport. I told him that I need the document by today because I want to go home. He mentioned it should not be an issue. Process was straight forward , it took me about 1 1/2 hours to get it. Best customer service you can get in the whole of Malaysia.

Just overheard from a person who lost his passport will have to stay over in JB for the next 3 days before all necessary documents can be obtained before returning to Singapore. It is not even the issue with the Singapore Consulate.

No HP allowed so no photos.

Thank you and kudos to staff of the consulate, in particular Sureen and Muzaffar, for helping my son to obtain his DOI. Sureen was very helpful in not only giving excellent advice, but to speed up the administrative process to obtain the DOI too. She helped liaise directly with ICA and helped with various administrative matters after listening about the predicament that my son encountered. (Thanks to ICA too for being flexible.) Muzaffar was very helpful in following up with me. Due to my son's injury, Muzaffar was willing to come down all the way from the consulate office to the carpark in B1 to verify his identity. If I can, I will give an extra star to both of them, and to those who worked behind the scenes. Sureen and Muzaffar really went the extra mile. Thank you so much.

Went to fetch my dad's singaporean passport last month. The officer already gave specific time to when we should be at the consulate during the phone call, so the process was really fast and smooth, only took around 15mins.

Its nice & clean,service is fast but u need to wait quite sometime bcuz they only allow 2 ppl in at a time due to Covid. Security is strict & they even scan u with a hand held scanner. U can only bring in yr wallet/purse & necessary docs,the rest of yr belongings is to be kept in a locker. Cant add photos bcuz no hp allowed.

Can you assign 1 more travel agency for Singapore visa? At present there is only De Kim Tour in Johor area, no matter how dissatisfied with their service there is no other choice
