Highly recommended, made booking via booking.com for bezza and was upgraded at no cost to almeera due to no bezza availability. What i like the most is that the car came with full tank of petrol when picking up the car and i only need to pump petrol to full tank right before returning the car. This is so much better as usually car rental will leave the tank as is from the previous rental which usually the tank is very low and i tend to fuel up more than i use the car.

Fastest and most easy car pick-up I’ve ever experienced worldwide. Personal welcome in the arrival hall, the agent was well-prepared, and after just a few signatures, we were on the way. Easy communication via WhatsApp and a super smooth car return. Highly recommend!

The car pickup and drop off were very fast and on time. Personal meeting in the arrivals hall, the agent was well prepared, we signed the documents and went straight away. Easy communication via WhatsApp and answers to all questions.
The full tank policy is a big plus.
The only negative is that we got a car without tinting (without dark windows). Perhaps it was only us who got this, but in my understanding, in a hot country like Malaysia, all cars should be tinted, at least the second row of seats for sure.
Otherwise, everything is great! I recommend!!!

I had an excellent experience with EuropCar Langkawi! The staff was incredibly flexible and helpful, making the entire car rental process seamless. Unfortunately, the car broke down during my rental, but I was impressed by how quickly they responded. Within just 30 minutes, they had a replacement vehicle ready for me, which allowed me to continue my trip without any hassle. The customer service was top-notch, and I highly recommend EuropCar Langkawi for anyone looking for a reliable and responsive car rental service. Will definitely use them again in the future

Europcar Langkawi provided excellent service. Upon arrival, a representative was already waiting with a name tag, making car collection exceptionally smooth. The drop-off process was equally effortless. Their prompt responses via WhatsApp were also greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!

Some minor points: The car, though a bit old and showing numerous scratches externally, was clean on the inside. The full deposit was deducted rather than just held, but it was refunded promptly a few days after the car's return

On April, we rented out a car with this company.

The following is why you shouldn’t do business with them:
1. We had ordered a car with a value that we wanted. Yet when we arrived to pick up the car, they had a million reasons why they needed to give us another shitty car. The front bumper of that said car was falling off. When we reached out, this what they did: a) “sorry” b) nothing. We had to buy our own tape to DIY the bumper ourselves. Of course they did not reimburse this.

2. Now, in June 2025, they still have not given us our deposit back. We have went through back to back contact about this for months. Little to zero very slow response so far. All they can do is apparently to tell us to contact our bank ourself.

Scam as its finest. Lazy and dishonest people who do not give a f. Fantastic. Just go with another company. Not worth it at all.

I have used Europcar in Langkawi many times over the years (also booking via Keddy by Europcar). The reason I continue to use them is that the collection and return process is so easy and the cars are in good condition. The staff are friendly and easily contactable on whatsapp. After landing in Langkawi, we are usually ready to go with the car in a very short time, which is great!

I booked a rental car in Langkawi for one day. When I contacted the company to collect the car, they suddenly demanded a RM1000 security deposit, which they said would only be refunded after 60 days. This is an unreasonably high deposit for a one-day rental, and there was no guarantee of getting the money back. They were completely inflexible and showed no consideration regarding the deposit. In the end, I had to cancel the booking and received no refund.

We ended up booking a car directly from the airport at half the price of Europcar—without any deposit and with no issues at all.
